PreSonus MSR Monitor Station Remote for the PreSonus Firestudio gives volume, dim, mute mono, and speaker switching as well as the ability to switch between surround and stereo mode. PreSonus MSR Monitor Station Remote is a complete surround capable desktop remote control delivering the ability to switch between Track, Mix and Surround modes, as well as talkback, dim, mute, mono and dual headphone amplifiers. With the MSR, Track Mode delivers nine stereo mixes for monitoring in headphones during tracking. Mix Mode allows the user to switch between three sets of stereo monitors, and Surround Mode enables 5.1 surround control for mixing in surround sound.

    FEATURES:

      Controls:

  • Main Volume - Controls the volume of active speaker set
  • Phones 2 - Headphones 2 output volume
  • Phones 3 - Headphones 3 output volume
  • Talkback Level - Volume level of on board talkback and external talkback microphone
  • Microphone - Internal microphone for talkback
  • Talk - Activates talkback microphone
  • Mono (Mix Mode)- Switches from stereo to mono
  • Mute (All Modes)- Mute all active speakers
  • Dim - Dims the active speakers by -20dB

      Monitor Source:

  • SPDIF - Routes the S/PDIF input to main outputs on FireStudio (mix mode)
  • Main - Routes DAW main output to main output on FireStudio (mix mode)
  • Aux - Routes DAW aux input to main outputs on FireStudio (mix mode)

       Monitor Mode:

  • Track - General purpose outputs are set so that the Control Console can send up to nine stereo mixes out of analog and digital outputs on the FireStudio.
  • Mix - General purpose outputs are set so that speaker A corresponds to main outputs, Speaker B corresponds to outputs 7/8, and speaker C corresponds to
  • outputs 5/6.
  • Surrnd - General purpose outputs are set so that the Control Console cansend up to nine stereo mixes.

         Surround Contol:

  • L - Selects L (left front) speaker (surround mode)
  • C - Selects C (center front) speaker (surround mode)
  • R - Selects R (right front) speaker (surround mode)
  • Ls - Selects Ls (left surround) speaker (surround mode)
  • SUB/LFE - Selects SUB/LFE (subwoofer/low frequency effect) speaker (surround mode)
  • RS - Selects Rs (right surround) speaker (surround mode)

       Stereo Control:

  • A - Selects speaker set A (main outputs) speaker (mix mode)
  • B - Selects speaker set B (outputs 7/8) speaker (mix mode)
  • C - Selects speaker set C (outputs 7/8 speaker (mix mode)
